The Lions are coming!

The Lions of Zululand are are a cultural group of musicians and dancers whose aim is to expose to the world the wonderful richness of traditional Zulu culture.

We are so very excited to be able to welcome the Lions to our school and experience a wonderful opportunity to learn more about Zulu culture, music and dance.

The Lions rehearse constantly to further develop and expand their dynamic repertoire. All members of the Lions come from disadvantaged backgrounds and are extremely talented. The group also share information about Zulu cultural practices, the beautiful province of KwaZulu-Natal and teach their audiences how to speak a little of King Shaka's language.

We are keen to see which words we will learn!

The Lions are visiting our school on the 8th May - and more information about this event will be published nearer the time.

Additionally, we will take photos and videos for our school website so that everyone has the opportunity to celebrate this amazing event.

We would also really like to thank the "Happy Days Charity" organisation that have helped to establish and provide funding support for this visit.
