Investors In People Accredited 2020

Since 1991 Investors in People has set the standard for better people management. With a community across 75 countries worldwide, successful accreditation against the Investors in People Standard is the sign of a great employer, an out performing place to work and a clear commitment to sustainability.


The RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards are internationally recognised and have fast become the most sought after accolade by organisations from every sector including a few schools. The award acknowledges the school has a strong consistent commitment to raising health and safety standards.

Governor Mark

Governor Mark is a national award. It is a kite mark which provides external evaluation of the quality of governance in a school. This is a challenging award. Not only does a governing body need to show that it follows good procedures and fulfils statutory duties, but there is a high value placed on evidence of impact – the difference the governing body makes to a school.

Mode Shift

The Mode Shift is an award designed to recognise and reward Modeshift Members for schemes, projects or other activities that support and encourage sustainable travel, by highlighting best practice, showing innovation and being inspirational.

Quality Mark

The basic skills Quality Mark is an award that celebrates and supports continuous improvement in literacy and numeracy. It is awarded to a school to recognise their provision, practice and performance in literacy and numeracy, and is valid for three years.

ICT Mark

This is awarded to schools with excellent use of technology to support teaching, learning and school administration. Deservedly popular with schools wanting to demonstrate both effective and mature use of technology. Schools use this award to drive change and many are, or go on to be, outstanding.


The RHS Campaign for School Gardening inspires and supports schools to provide children with gardening opportunities to enhance their skills and boost their development. The five star award which we received recognizes our enthusiasm for gardening, sharing the garden with the community, passing on gardening skills within school and beyond.


Artsmark award celebrates schools that champion the arts and strive for excellence in their provision.

Black Country Chamber of Commerce

Being a member of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce is a unique way of demonstrating our commitment to the regeneration of the Black Country. It allows the opportunity to lobby key decision makers, increase our network of senior level contacts and share your knowledge and expertise with like-minded business leaders, working collectively to promote the region and tackle the challenges holding it back.


FMSiS stands for Financial Management Standards in Schools. State schools are subject to audit by the local authority, the district audit and Ofsted.
