The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Theme Day

This year marks the Queen's Platinum Jubilee marking 70 years on the throne. The school is having a royal-themed party day to celebrate the occasion on the 26th May. Classes will be off timetable all day partaking in various activities as part of the day. Activities will include dressing up in royal colours or party clothes, making crowns and creating royal self-portraits for a whole school collage, bouncy castles, a visit from the ice cream van, street party, raffle, Great British Bake Off competition and much more. The royal themed celebrations will continue on the Friday when students will be talking about British Values and the Queen's importance to our country. More fun activities will follow and topped off with a royal-themed disco in the afternoon.
