It is my pleasure and privilege to welcome you to The Meadows School, a specialist provision for students aged 11 to 19 years of age.
The Meadows School provides education to students with a wide range of special educational needs through a personalised learning approach. In order to ensure that all students receive a broad and balanced curriculum experience that is relevant and appropriate to their needs, we offer multiple pathways that prioritise individual requirements.
As the development of our amazing students is always a key priority, we maintain small class sizes and provide high staffing ratios to ensure specific needs are addressed. Our highly qualified and motivated staff set challenging expectations and aspirations for all students, maximising progress. Our spacious setting offers a safe and enticing environment where staff and students can thrive and enjoy their learning journey together.
In addition to our educational focus, The Meadows School promotes the personal and social development of every student, by emphasising well-being and independence. We combine high quality internal resources with access to external facilities to provide opportunities for students to engage in a variety of inclusive activities. Our nurturing approach allows students to grow and realise their potential, as valued members of the community.
We acknowledge the significant impact that all stakeholders have within the lives of our students. As such, we seek to maximise involvement with families, external professionals and individuals from our local area.
